Thank you for your interest in Saint George School and welcome to the admission process.
 

Admission of new students to Saint George School is on a rolling admission basis. Students enrolling in preschool through grade eight are welcome to complete the process year round. Non-parish families are welcome to become a part of the Saint George Community.  All students are expected to participate in religion classes and attend all religious activities with their classes.
 
For admission into the SGS Kindergarten Program, children must be five years in age by September 1st of the enrollment year.  Students tranferring into grade five and up must complete a personal interview with the principal prior to acceptance into the school.

The following information is necessary to complete the registration process:
 
Completed application for Saint George School
           
$50 registration fee, checks payable to Saint George School
 
Birth Certificate
 
Baptismal certificate- if applicable
 
School Visit – optional, but highly recommended
 
Conference with the Principal – Grades 5-8
 
Transfer Slip and Transcript of Records - if applicable
 
Copy of Report Card - if applicable
 
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires that all children in Commonwealth schools have written proof submitted by their physician that they have received: four doses of DT, three doses of oral polio vaccine, two doses of live measles vaccine, one dose of rubella, and one dose of mumps vaccine which is usually given as the vaccine "MMR".  The Varicella (chickenpox) immunization or proof of the disease is required for students in grade K, 1, 7, and 8.  Three doses of hepatitus B are required for grades K through 8.  The MMR and varicella must be given after the first birthday.

Security

All school doors will be locked at 8:30a.m. All visitors must ring the buzzer located at the main entrance on Georgian Way to enter.  Upon entering all visitors must report to the school office to sign in and receive a visitor pass.  Visitors without a pass will be sent back to the office.
