The students of Saint George School have the opportunity to participate in a variety of performing and visual arts. It has been shown that students who have a strong performing and visual arts education have a solid foundation for their educational, emotional, social and creative development.
Our Performing Arts Program develops an appreciation of many aspects of music, drama, and dance during weekly classes. Our curriculum follows Pennsylvania Music standrds to challenge and educate our students in a wide variety of music and theater concepts and styles. The department also incorporates cross curricular activities to tie into what the students are learning in their classroom lessons.
Our Visual Arts department explores the many elements and principles of art. We utilize many different media and supplies to reinforce Pennsylvania standards that the students need to be successful artists and develop an appreciation for art.
