Growth and Enrichment Registration Form




The Growth and Enrichment Program will reinforce skills to promote personal and emotional growth.  We will be working hands-on with manipulatives in all academic areas.  Our daily activities will help to develop your child's academic skills while your child enhances his and/or her social skills.



Arrival and Pick Up Procedure

Parents or authorized person should sign your child in and out each day. If someone other than a parent or designated person is picking up your child, please let us know in writing when your child is dropped off in the morning. If you do not let us know in writing, we will phone you at work or home to verify the designated person.

This is for your child’s protection.




Monday – Friday 11a.m. to 3 p.m. 
The Growth and Enrichment Program is not available on teacher in-service days and school vacation days.

If school is on a two-hour delay, the Growth and Enrichment Program will remain open for parents who need it.
If school is on a two-hour delay:
All A.M. & P.M. Preschool is cancelled
ALL-DAY Kindergarten will be in session



Registration & Fees

The registration fee for the Growth and Enrichment Program is $35.00 for one child/$60.00 for two or more children.
The cost is $4.40 an hour per child, $2.10 extra per hour for any child participating in our program from the same family. There will be half hour charges for the program. If your child is picked up at 2:10p.m., you will be charged until 2:30p.m. Our program ends at 3p.m. each day.  If you are still in need of childcare after 3p.m., your child will then be signed into Extended Care, which will run until 5:30p.m. To ensure that the children are picked up on time, there will be a late charge of $10.00 for every 15 minutes that you are delayed.

Your weekly invoice will be sent home the week following attendance. Weekly invoices are sent home on Tuesday, payable within two weeks. Any invoice that is 30 days past due, a $25.00 late fee will be charged. Please make your check payable to St. George School. In the memo area of your check, please indicate your child’s name and the invoice number. Your account must be kept current.

We provide morning, afternoon, and late afternoon snacks for the children each day. There is a $25.00 snack fee per child. This fee will be used to purchase snacks, juice, cups, napkins, and tissues for our Alternative Care children.



Medications and Allergies

Please advise us if your child has allergies, especially if they have food allergies. In case of food allergies, we will monitor what your child eats. You are encouraged to send alternate snacks if your child’s allergy is serious.

The teacher will administer medication. Parents must fill out a medication form. The medication must be in the original container.



Children may purchase lunch from the school cafeteria. Lunch menus will be sent home monthly and will be posted by the sign in sheet. If your child is purchasing lunch, please put lunch money in an envelope with his/her name. Your child may bring a lunch from home.




Children are encouraged and permitted to use the bathroom whenever they need to. We require that your child be able to use the bathroom facilities without our assistance. Children should be able to manage their bathroom needs on their own. We are not able to help your child with these needs unless he/she is ill or has had an accident.


Preschool & Kindergarten Age Children

Growth and Enrichment children will have a gym time each day.

Please send sneakers to school with your child each day.

Children will need to bring a sleeping bag to school for quiet time. Sleeping bags should be marked with your child’s name and placed in a plastic bag. We will send home sleeping bags periodically for laundering. We ask that your child bring back the sleeping bag the next day.

Children will need to bring a change of clothes to school in case of emergency. Please label your child’s belongings and place them in a zip lock bag.

If your child’s emergency information should change during the school year, please let us know so the record can be updated.

Our program is not equipped to take care of sick children. Please be considerate of others and keep your child home when he/she shows signs of fever, nausea, sore throat, etc… Should your child become ill at school, you or the emergency person on your emergency form will be contacted. Arrangements will need to be made for child to be picked up from school.
