Welcome Note from Student Council
Dear Future Friend,
So, you’re looking to come to Saint George. You might be asking yourself, why should I? You should be asking yourself why shouldn’t I ??? Saint George is a great school, but it’s more of a family than a school. Everyone at Saint George is so welcoming and friendly.
We have so much to offer at Saint George. The teachers are fun and dedicate
d to teaching us about Catholic values, and we have fun doing it. All the technology we have makes it so much fun to learn new things. Not only that, but we have lots of team sports such as: football, tennis, cheerleading, bowling, basketball, cross country, skiing, swimming, soccer, golf, baseball, and wrestling.

So, you’re not into sports? That’s okay! There’s plenty more for you to do! We have craft club, student council, yearbook staff, scrapbook club, Schola - it's like the Church Choir, Math Counts, drama club, peer tutoring, and more!
At Saint George we do a ton of awesome things. During Catholic Schools Week, we have a pajama day, a crazy sock and hat day, dodge ball games for the older kids, and even a Dance Dance Revolution Tournament!
In the fall of this past year, we got our very own Green Space ! ! ! We get to play outside all year round. It is exceptionally fun in the winter because sometimes we have fun snowball fights with our grade. We have spirited pep rallies to get the school excited before a big game.
On Spirit & Early Dismissal Days everyone gets to wear the school colors (Red and White) with jeans to show their Lancer spirit!
We also like to help serve others at
Saint George! We do a lot of service projects. We collect money, food, toys, and clothes; we make cards, valentines, and placemats for troops, kids, or anyone else in need.

If you are worried about fitting in, well, don’t be! Everyone at Saint George welcomes you with open arms. You will always feel like you belong here. All of us laugh together, pray together, have fun together, cry together and even help each other through good times and bad. It really is a great place to be.
Saint George will provide you with so many opportunities to do what you love while having fun and help you succeed in life. There are a lot of great times waiting for you at SGS!!!!
