The Saint George School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) consists of parents and teachers in our school community. Our mission is to promote the partnership between parents, teachers, and students by providing a healthy, caring and educational environment for all. Our goal, as the PTO, is to assure Saint George School students the opportunity for a high-quality education in a Christian environment and a Catholic oriented curriculum through the promotion of educational and cultural programs and projects.
PTO groups are best known for fundraising. In times of shrinking school budgets, fundraising has taken on an increased importance. Our main fundraiser is the "All Around Erie" coupon book. The SGS PTO focuses on building the kind of school community where teachers and students can do their best work. This means planning and promoting family events, class parties and field trips, fun student activities, and more!
The Saint George School PTO strives to connect with parents and teachers for the benefit of our children. Parents who get involved feel a connection with the school and PTO, and the school as a whole becomes more successful. The more dedicated the parents are, who become involved with PTO, the more the organization can accomplish for the school and the students. We hope you will support SGS PTO!
The Saint George School PTO always appreciates parent volunteers. Whether you can commit to 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time and your talents are truly needed and appreciated. We have many ways in which Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles can contribute.
